YOMIKA - THE YEAR 2011 IN REVIEW (CAREER , LOVE & LIFE) - AND I THANK YOU!

HEY EVERYONE!

It's been a while since I have blogged, as it has been a roller coaster ride for me this year!  Where do I begin???? 

Well first, I must begin by looking back from where I am now...I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and even if you don't celebrate, or don't feel like you have a reason to celebrate, maybe digging deep down inside yourself and finding one teeny tiny thing to be thankful for..and you just might surprise yourself and find something! It doesn't have to be BIG just something, anything, no judgement, I promise!! :)

I want to start this blog with what I have to be thankful for...!My year (2011) began..with me completing 2 of my songs in the studio with background help from Taylor B! She was wonderful and sounds great! Thank you TAYLOR!! Muah!

Then there is Chatu, a talented producer who has given of himself and to me..some great fun music..that I have written great stuff to and he has showed up in my rehearsals and my sessions!  THANK YOU!

Then there are the people and places in my life that I had to let go of...for many various reasons and circumstances...THANK YOU!

  You leaving my life, either by choice or by events..have allowed me to stand on my own, discover who I am inside and really GROW!

 Remember some people are in your life for a reason, season or lifetime..and some people leave and return...it's all okay! THANK YOU!

My real friends, and real buddies - here there and everywhere!  THANK YOU for being you..and supporting me when things were good, bad, ugly and indifferent!

Amas Musical Theatre - The Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy..THANK YOU for your acceptance of me, although I only worked with you for a short while, I'm sure I will see you all again..and look forward to working with you again. Mr. Keith Branch, my vocal coach...THANK YOU!  You gave me confidence in my abilities..and helped me to realize that I had talent yet to be realized, you helped bring it out of me..I will see you again soon, and I can't wait until you are able to play the piano on one of my songs..you are wonderful on the keys! WOW! 

Ms. Elisabeth Withers, THANK YOU, for allowing me to audition for you...and help me to understand and realize that it doesn't matter what you feel or think..it is about doing what is required under any particular circumstance..that is the key! 

 Ms. Robin Dunn, Ms. Robin as I like to call her - THANK YOU for the opportunity to work with F.A.C.E. Workshop and to perform with the SHOWCASE! It was a great experience,

 I loved it and learned a lot! I'm glad I completed the workshop!

HOWEVER, GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME, AND I'M HOPING YOU WILL ALL LIKE WHAT I'M SERVING UP! :) MUSIC TO RELEASED IN 2012 - HEY! I'M LOOKING FOR A TITLE FOR MY EP..ANY IDEAS?

AND A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MY FANS AND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY THAT ANXIOUSLY AWAIT THE RELEASE OF MY MUSIC IN 2012 - AND THOSE FANS YET TO DISCOVER ME AND I THEM.
